A bit of advice for Karoke in Korea

As my coworker, Josh, learned the hard way…

When your owner of your school kindly takes the teachers, managers and staff to Cirque du Soleil Alegria and then out for a night of traditional Korean bbq, beer, soju, and singing… don’t choose the Springsteen song: Born in the USA to sing in front of everybody. Or else you may have to stumble through such lyrics as:

“Got in a little hometown jam
So they put a rifle in my hand
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man”
